Your account and conversations

The service stores the name and email you provide, a password hash, and the conversations and comments you post. Your display name and contributions are visible to other signed-in community members. Lesson content is available without an account.

Sign-in cookies

Essential cookies maintain your sign-in session. They are set by the server and are not readable by page JavaScript. Signing out removes these cookies from this browser.

Learning progress on this device

Saved lessons, completion marks, private practice notes, and practice sessions are stored in this browser, as is your theme preference. This progress is not linked to an account or synchronized to other devices. Anyone using the same browser profile may see it, even after you sign out. Clearing this site’s browser data removes it.

Practice recordings

Recording starts only when you choose to use your microphone. New takes stay in this browser; saving stores them on this device. They are shared across accounts using the same browser profile. You can listen, download, or delete them from the recorder. Clearing learning progress does not delete recordings; clear recordings individually or clear this site’s browser data.

Choosing “Post to community” uploads that take and your feedback question. Shared recordings are available to signed-in members. Removing the post prevents further playback through the app; the service retains the stored recording with the removed post. Members who previously downloaded a recording may still have a copy.

Video and email providers

Embedded lesson videos are provided by services such as YouTube or Vimeo. Opening a video lesson can connect your browser to that provider, which has its own privacy practices. Account verification and password-reset email is sent through the configured email provider.

Your choices

You can browse lessons and use practice tools without registering. You can edit or remove your own community contributions where those controls are available. Removed comments may leave a placeholder so other members’ replies remain understandable. There is currently no self-service account deletion screen.
